At Crossroads, we believe that no one is too young to experience the love of God. At our weekend experience, we are dedicated to teaching God’s principles in a fun and exciting environment to our kids. We want your kids to LOVE coming to church as much as you will. Below are some frequently asked questions about what we offer in ccKids.

What ages does ccKids encompass?
ccKids has classes for children from six weeks old through 6th grade.

What security procedures do you have in place? Safety is one of our top priorities at Crossroads Church. All volunteers who work in any of our kids’ areas have gone through an extensive application process that includes a background check. In addition, we use an electronic check-in system with touch screen technology and/or bar code scanning that is fast, efficient and safe. Parents receive a label with matching numbers to the name tags the child receives which must be presented when picking up kids (no exceptions.)

How will you contact me if my child needs me? When you check your children in through our check-in system, you will be given a tag with a specific code on it. If you need to be contacted during the Weekend Experience, you will see your child’s code flashed on the big screen in the auditorium.

Is there a private area for nursing mothers?
Yes, there is a place where you can go to nurse your baby and still hear the message. You take the steps to the left of the foyer as you exit the auditorium and follow the signs.

What do I need to bring?
If your child is an infant or toddler, please bring a diaper bag with items your child may need such as: diapers, wipes, bottles with juice or formula and pacifiers to comfortably get them through the experience. Older kids may bring a Bible if they have one and if not, we can provide them with one.

What will my child(ren) learn?
Kids ages 3-6 will experience Bible lessons about Jesus through puppet skits, stories and other interactive activities. In our Elementary program (1st-4th grade), the Bible comes to life on a live movie set where the kids themselves participate in a high-energy environment they will love. 5th and 6th graders experience “Shift”, our pre-youth group environment in the youth loft. We also provide a blog site (cckidsblog.com) for parents to know what their kids learned and how they can reinforce it during the week. Click here to subscribe via email to get these weekly messages via email.

What if my child is sick?
We want to make sure all of our kids can enjoy a safe and clean environment. Please read and follow our Sick Child Policy.
